Beyond Wrapture Mind and Body Care was the first Day Spa to open in Kelowna, British Columbia, and we have been operating for more than 15 years. The Character House on Richter Street, which was our first spa, now serves as the Central Reservations and Head Office for the Beyond Wrapture Resort/Hotel Spa Locations spread throughout the Okanagan Valley. You can ski right to our spa doors at Big White or arrive via your water skies at the Summerland Waterfront Resort, our newest spa location. You can shop til you drop at the Capri Mall at the Gordon and Harvey Ave intersection in Kelowna or you can escape just 20 minutes out of town to Lake Okanangan Resort and practice your golf swing or swim with the horses. | |||||
| The Summerland Waterfront Resort Beyond Wrapture Day Spa has a New York themed ambience with two "Martini Manicure Bar" stations, four "Central Park" pedicure stations, and two couple’s treatment rooms; "Broadway" and the "Hamptons". Women enjoy their facials in the luxurious spa treatment room aptly named "Manhattan", while Men’s facials are performed in "Brooklyn Bridge". This locations is ideal for large groups and Bridal Parties and offers complete Hair, OPI Gel Nail applications and Jane Iredale Make Up applications. On a more intimate note you can find the “Path to Renewal” at Beyond Wrapture at the Coast Capri Hotel, our downtown location in the Capri Mall on Gordon Drive. This intimate Day Spa features a very obvious Asian theme with the ‘I Ching’ divinity clearly displayed throughout the spa. The Spa features a large steam room, an Asian Bath, and a Secret Garden room where guests can relax before or after services. As with all other locations all of the Beyond Wrapture’s unique full body signature services are available along with a full range of esthetic and hair services and Jane Iredale Make-Up applications. Guests can enjoy the relaxation of our Timeless Eternity Vinotherapy Experience. The Okanagan Pip scrub will be gingerly scrubbed applied to stimulate the body’s circulation and exfoliate the skin prior to a period of relaxation in our infrared sauna with the mixture still applied. After the body is warmed and the skin’s pores are opened a honey wine mixture is massaged into the skin. Lastly these jelly muscles are wrapped in insulating sheets and blankets and allowed guests drift off into slumber while they enjoy a meaningful face and scalp massage that opens the ‘seat of spiritual vision’. Thirty minutes later a steamy shower will complete a final rinse where the old ‘aura’ falls away and the newly cleansed silken skin is revealed and prepared to face the big decision: a red or white wine Vinotherapy Massage? Beyond Wrapture is one of the first spas in Canada to offer these Vinotherapy Services. Research shows that grape seeds, stems & skins, used in Beyond Wrapture Vinotherapy services, contain antioxidants called polyphenols, which are 10,000 times stronger and 50 times more healing than Vitamin E. Grapeseed oil, used in Beyond Wrapture’s Vinotherapy Massage, is high in ologonomeric promanthoscyanidins (PCOs), another powerful antioxidant which can greatly reduce the damage created by free radicals, strengthen and repair connective tissue and promote healthy, glowing skin at the cellular level.
